How It Works

Black when dry. Coral when wet.

The StormShift Reactive Jacket uses a water-reactive outer fabric. It looks like a clean black technical shell until water touches it.

1. Wear it black

Dry, the jacket is a minimal black shell. Hood, high collar, two vertical chest pockets, adjustable cuffs and hem. Nothing gives it away.

2. Add water

Rain, sleet, wet snow or a splash activates only the fabric it physically touches. Not the jacket. Not the panel. The exact contact area.

3. Reveal the pattern

Contacted areas turn vivid coral. Everything still dry stays black. A single drop leaves a small mark. A splash leaves its own shape. Water running down your sleeve draws a trail.

It resets

As the fabric dries, the coral fades back to black and the jacket is ready to react again.

What it will not do

• It will not turn the whole jacket coral from one drop.
• It will not transfer color to your skin or the clothes underneath.
• It will not make the same pattern twice, because the pattern is drawn by the water.
